Pine Grove Corridor Upgrades: Neighborhood Update

 

For over 20 years, our community has eagerly awaited the Pine Grove Corridor Project, and I am excited to share the latest progress on this long-needed effort to make our neighborhood safer and more walkable.

The Pine Grove Corridor Project is moving closer to construction. Even though you might not see work happening yet, a lot is going on behind the scenes. About half of projects like this involve planning, designing, and studying before any digging starts—and Pine Grove is right on track! This project is a big deal for Roswell, voted for by our community through the special transportation tax, TSPLOT. Our goal is to make our streets safer and easier for everyone to walk, bike and get around.

What’s Been Done So Far:

June 2023: Started planning the project’s concept.

July 2024: Held a community open house at Chickering Neighborhood Clubhouse to share ideas.

October 2024: The Mayor and Council approved the project concept.

Early 2025: Finished surveying the area.

January 2025: Began detailed design work with our team of experts.
